About Me . . .
Origin Story. . .
As a self proclaimed extroverted introvert, I will only ask for your attention when I absolutely believe it is necessary. (Or I need the paycheck … let’s keep it real). I believe in the power of storytelling to make this world a better, kinder, and more empathic place. Sitting in the theatre with my parents as a kid in Southern California, I thought it was magic. Those moments set me on a course that would include singing with Pacific Children’s Chorus and studying with South Coast Repertory’s youth conservatory. I would survive a hunger game like experience majoring in theatre performance at Chapman University. I sought refuge doing shows such as Anne of Green Gables at The Chance Theatre in Anaheim.
The Los Angeles Chapter . . .
In Los Angeles, I would find kinder training with Jen Krater at Krater Studios, Saxon Trainor at Annie Grindlay Studios, and Upright Citizen’s Brigade. These days I’ve appeared in many commercials including one where I made out with Santa and another one where I re-enacted the pottery wheel scene in Ghost with the Bachelor Pilot Pete. I’ve also appeared in television shows such as My Crazy Sex and Sex Sent Me to the Er. My Mom’s very proud.
A Writer Emerges . . .
The great Covid pause gave me time to pursue writing. My first published piece was a short children’s story, "Delightful Delaney Detective and the Case of the Missing Teeth," inspired by my oldest niece. I quickly became a Staff Writer for LittleThings and a frequent contributor to WeGotThisCovered. I am still exploring what the best writing path forward is for me but it just feels so right.
What else should you know?
I’m an only child who claimed my cousin’s children as my nieces and nephews. I love them immensely. I have a rescue cat named Lucky who I saved from my parent’s attic. I’m a voracious reader who’s favorite book is whatever one I’m reading next.
