What I Learned at the Reading of My New Short Play
Being a writer is a strange kind of grace. You sit down at a desk, or in your car, or on the edge of your bed at 2 a.m., and suddenly the rules of the world loosen. Time bends. People come back. Conversations that never happened begin to take shape. I’ve been writing a play about my estranged step-grandmother. About a conversation we never had. A conversation we couldn’t have, really—not with the way things unfolded, not with the silences that calcified over time, not with th

I Can’t Stand It… There Are Only Three Shows Left!
There are only THREE performances left of *You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown* and… I can’t stand it 😭 (in the most Sally way possible). This show has stretched me in every way — physically, mentally, and emotionally. Getting to return to Sally Brown with more life under my belt has been such a gift, and wow, she really keeps me on my toes. Equal parts heart, chaos, and “listen here, world!!” I love this cast so much it’s not even funny (okay, it is — they’re hilarious). Truly

Good Grief, I’m Sally Brown Again
Some roles are just jobs. Others feel like they were written into your DNA. Returning to You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown with JStage feels a little like coming home. I got to play this role in high school but am so thankful to revisit it with more experience. There are just some roles you feel born to play — and Sally Brown is one of mine. She’s dramatic, honest, stubborn, sweet, and occasionally ready to shout, “I can’t stand it!” Honestly? Same. This show is big-hearted,

A Reading of My First Play: Ghosts, Situationships, and Vulnerability
Writing a play is like online dating: isolating, terrifying, and full of self-doubt. For weeks, I sat alone, typing The Ghosts of Situationships Past , turning my dating horror stories into a modern twist on A Christmas Carol —why men ghost, why we linger, and why it hurts so much. Then came the reading. Suddenly, my private world of ghosts and painfully specific online dating anecdotes was out there, in a room full of humans. Vulnerable doesn’t begin to cover it. The day bef

Appearing as Pandora in a Staged Reading of Pandora the Musical
I’m so excited to finally share this: I’ll be appearing as Pandora in a staged reading of a brand-new musical, Pandora the Musical! ✨ Join me on February 15 at 2:00 PM at Newport Arts Theatre for an afternoon of new music, fresh storytelling, and a myth you think you know—reimagined. Playing the first woman on earth comes with a little pressure (okay, a lot), so honestly… no wonder she opens the box. When the fate of humanity is on your shoulders, curiosity feels practically

⭐ Directing By Hook or By Crook at Holiday Voices 2025 ⭐
I’m excited to share that I'm directing the one-act By Hook or By Crook as part of New Voices Playwrights Theatre's Holiday Voices 2025 at Westminster Community Theatre . This piece has a mischievous, festive plot—just the right amount of holiday cheer and surprises. This project is also a full-circle moment for me. I first met actress Autumn Browne when I was 18 and we were both working on Shoe: The Musical . She went on to direct me many times and became my directing me

"Topanga" and Me: A Conversation That Hit Close to Home
It's not every day you get to talk to someone you idolized as a child. It's even rarer when that person turns out to be a genuinely kind soul working on a cause close to your heart. In August 2024, Danielle Fishel shared her breast cancer diagnosis with the world. I had the chance to speak with her about her journey and get an update on how she and her family are coping. You can read my interview with Danielle for Mom.com here.

Singing Some Tunes From Frankenstein in Broadway After Dark.
It's fall ya'll. That means for most people the air is getting crisper and the temps cooler. As I live in Southern California, I'm lighting my pumpkin spice candle and turning up my air conditioning. Another way I am celebrating the season is revisting my former role of Elizabeth in Frankstein the Musical with Air in Relation. I am so excited to sing a couple songs from this musical for two nights concert style in Long Beach. The shows will take place on November 1 and 2 at U

Screening At TCL Chinese Theater
At the end of last year a short film I am proud to be in screened at Hollyshorts at TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood. “The Ultimate Sacrifice" tells the real life story of Marcuz Adler who as a young Jewish boy growing up during World War II was given away by his mother so he would be protected. He never saw her again. I played Ingrid Mueller, the woman who work him in and past him off as her own. It was so rewarding to see it on the big screen. The film was directed by Riley
