Some roles are just jobs. Others feel like they were written into your DNA.

Returning to You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown with JStage feels a little like coming home. I got to play this role in high school but am so thankful to revisit it with more experience. There are just some roles you feel born to play — and Sally Brown is one of mine. She’s dramatic, honest, stubborn, sweet, and occasionally ready to shout, “I can’t stand it!” Honestly? Same.

This show is big-hearted, nostalgic, and full of joy. It’s the kind of theatre that reminds you how funny and tender life can be — even when you’re waiting for your dog to notice you or your crush to take the hint. Good grief, it’s charming.

Our cast is wildly talented, and our creative team has built something truly special. This production is bright, playful, and perfect for kids and the young at heart. If you have little ones, bring them. If you grew up loving these characters, come relive it. If you just need an evening that leaves you smiling, this is it.

We perform in Irvine on: • March 28 (1pm & 7pm) • March 29 (2pm) • April 2 (7pm) • April 4 (1pm & 7pm)

And this run is extra special: one very important niece is traveling from Portland to see me perform for the very first time. That alone makes me want to break out into another verse of the closing number "Happiness." Don't be a blockhead and miss this one. Here’s the link for tickets:
