At the end of last year a short film I am proud to be in screened at Hollyshorts at TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood. “The Ultimate Sacrifice" tells the real life story of Marcuz Adler who as a young Jewish boy growing up during World War II was given away by his mother so he would be protected. He never saw her again. I played Ingrid Mueller, the woman who work him in and past him off as her own. It was so rewarding to see it on the big screen. The film was directed by Riley Jackson.
Afterwards I dined at Musso and Franks like all the old Hollywood stars did. I channeled my inner Mary Pickford and ate Fettuccine Alfredo. Did you know she brought the recipe back to the United States after honeymooning in Italy with Douglas Fairbanks? It paired nicely with my martini.
